Details
This 5.56 NATO cartridge by Prvi Partizan sports an M855 projectile, which is a 62 grain bullet with a steel penetrator tip over a lead core in a full copper jacket. That green steel tip means more than that this round will attract a magnet; it also gives it superior penetrating abilities, but not so much that it’s classified as an armor piercing round by the ATF. Still, its steel tip and full metal jacket give this projectile more than its handsome share of penetrating properties, so with it you can have great fun drilling holes through metal targets from long distances.
Although this cartridge hails from a part of the world where the Soviet Union once had some influence, it does not reflect the fallen regime’s penchant for steel cased ammunition. As such, you may reload its Boxer primed brass casing multiple times, adding tremendous value to this purchase for the high-volume AR-15 shooter. Prvi Partizan makes great ammunition, a reputation to which the company owes their incredible popularity for all applications throughout the world.
