Details
These .45 ACP cartridges are an
affordable and effective way to check the proper feeding of hollow points in
your firearm. The 185 grain jacketed hollow point, lighter than most .45 Auto
rounds, achieves faster-than-average muzzle velocity of 900 feet per
second. Each box contains 50 rounds with
Boxer-primed reloadable brass cases.
This jacketed hollow point design will achieve greater expansion than a full metal jacket round in a self-defense situation. However, CCW holders may want to also consider PMC’s Starfire series of premium JHPs for daily carry.
Precision Made Cartridges, or PMC, is the export brand of the Poongsan Corporation, a South Korean munitions company with a long history of fulfilling South Korean government contracts. As the name suggests, PMC ammunition is made to exacting standards in Poongsan’s factories. The company lives up to the “precision” label by manufacturing its own components to maintain a high level of control over quality, then subjecting the finished cartridges to electronic checks and other QC measures. Ammo that does not meet the required tight tolerances is rejected so that customers can enjoy a consistent shooting experience.
