Details

This is a dedicated .223 frangible training round made specifically for law enforcement that offers a significantly cleaner range experience and also enhances shooter safety and reduces range wear and tear. It is a .223 Remington load and can be used in AR-15 firearms generally. The 42 grain frangible projectile offers reduced risk of deflection and ricochet and significantly reduces safety and wear concerns for steel backstop indoor ranges.

The experience is much cleaner on the range for the shooter and the overall lack of smoke and unburnt powder improves the conditions for the HVAC systems and the people shooting at the range, considerably. The lower flash makes the shooting experience also very good and the total lack of deflection risk and ricochet means you can train at shorter ranges and not have the same uncomfortable risks that you would have with a different bullet style.

The Boxer primed brass cartridge casing is also easily reloadable and it is built to a very high standard that means it is able to be reloaded multiple times.

While it can be used effectively for close quarters urban home defense scenarios, it does not have the stopping power of more traditional rounds and may not be as effective at stopping a threat as some other dedicated defensive loads. It will however, have lower risk of overpenetration concerns.
