Whether you keep 12 gauge shotgun in your cruiser for patrol, in your truck for camp defense, or by your bedside for home invasion, your plan isn't complete without a magazine tube full of these slugs from Federal. These TruBall Deep Penetrator loads utilize a polypropylene sphere and ribbed wad to center the slug during barrel travel and help it maintain consistent measurements all the way around. This results in uniform muzzle exit, complete propulsion efficiency, and unmatched spin stabilization.
These one-ounce, copper-coated slugs are capable of achieving 3-inch groups at 50 yards. The copper plating cuts down on excess lead residue and helps the slug penetrate past intermediate barriers such as auto glass, drywall, and thick clothing with minimal deflection. Federal builds their ammunition using the finest components available such as clean-sparking 209 primers, freshly rolled brass heads, and moisture-resistant plastic hulls which are ready for any conditions. A 2-3/4 inch hull length makes these shells compatible with a wide range of shotgun types.
