If you’re firing on steel targets, then a frangible bullet’s crumbling terminal performance represents a much lower risk of taking a little fleck of shrapnel to your face or torso.

A frangible bullet also happens to be lead-free. That means this ammo won’t scatter toxic lead particles into the air during ignition or impact, and it also means it won’t deposit any lead fouling inside your barrel.
