I don't trust Tula anymore. Wolf has seemed to get much better over the past few years. It's a good plinking round but also decently accurate. It has a light coat a lacquer to prevent rust. Shot 660 rounds of out 1000 during stress shoots and no issues at all. (Posted on 7/4/2016)

I have never liked the laquer coated steel case ammo. You REALLY need to make sure you scrub the chamber after shooting this or and steel ammo. None of my 3 AR's (Colt, Bushmaster, Sig) like this stuff. And yeah, it's dirty too.

I have nearly run all of 500 rounds of this through my Sig M400. I did not have any malfunctions while shooting, and just recently picked up the Wolf Gold brass ammo based on my positive experience with this.

This ammo runs dirty and I habitually clean the rifle with Slip 2000 after every range day, which may have helped in preventing any malfunctions. Also, the ammo was consistently accurate out to 100 yards. I'm hoping to get the same performance out of the brass ammo.

All that said, I did not try rapid sustained fire at any point, so I can't speak to what happens when things get very hot. Admittedly I wouldn't use this ammo for that purpose, but instead brass cased. For sighting in and practicing weapon manipulation and marksmanship, though, this was fine. (Posted on 1/16/2014)
