This ammunition from Sellier & Bellot is ideal for target practice with a 1911 or other .45 ACP pistol and comes in a bulk priced 1,000 round case (20 boxes of 50 rounds each) to help drive your costs way down. Each cartridge in this case of 1,000 fires a heavy 230 grain full metal jacket bullet at a muzzle velocity of 853 feet per second, producing typical ballistics for the caliber.

A: Hello Marvin, S&B does use large pistol primers in their .45 ACP ammunition.

A: Hello! The Sellier and Bellot .45 ACP ammunition is loaded with a standard copper coated, lead core bullet. It does not contain any steel.
